It is an honor to be able to invite you to the grand opening concert for Hyfer, NTNU's new knowledge festival, where the prestigious Gunnerus Prize will be awarded. The award honors outstanding scientific work for global sustainable development, and aims to promote research and strengthen the scientific basis of sustainability. Here, NTNU's Principal, Anne Borg and President May Thorseth will be presenting the award.
The concert will be a celebration of the wonderful music environment at the Department of Music NTNU, which boasts world-class composers and performers. It is extra great to have Håkon Magnar Skogstad, who recently completed his doctorate at NTNU and won the Spellemannsprisen for the recording of his own tango-inspired piano concerto.
