Bernt-Erik Sæther is Director of the Gjærevoll Centre.
He belongs to the research group for ecology at the Department of Biology at NTNU and was previously director of the Center for Biodiversity Dynamics (CBD) in the period 2013 -2022. His specialist field is the integration of ecological and evolutionary processes, social and population dynamics. Bernt-Erik has led several major field projects, e.g. on house sparrows and moose.
