Professor Nabil Ahmed, from Trondheim Academy of Fine Art and his research team in the research agency INTERPRT pursue environmental justice through spatial and visual investigations. The team includes academics, architects, and spatial designers with over a decade of experience conducting investigations on conflict and environmental degradation in different parts of the world.

In this conversation, Nabil Ahmed and Professor Marek E. Jasinski from the Institute of Historical and Classical Studies will explore the convergence of historical and contemporary narratives of war crimes and environmental destruction. From an evidentiary point of view they will take a look at how emerging methodologies and technologies used across forensic archeology and forensic architecture are opening new possibilities for the pursuit of accountability and collective memory.

Moderator: Anne-Lise Aakervik, kommunikasjonsrådgiver AD-fakultetet.
